Hotels Near Cebu Airport: 5 Places to Stay Close By
Cebu City. Chances are high that Cebu or Manila is the starting point of your trip around the Philippines. Why Cebu? First of all, it’s the perfect base for the many islands nearby. You can fly to Siargao within an hour or take the ferry to Bohol straight from the port. By taxi you’re in Moalboal within three hours. And Siquijor isn’t far away either. Second, Cebu City’s airport is a lot more manageable than Manila’s. Finally, there are plenty of hotels near Cebu airport, so you’re in your hotel lobby in no time.
After booking a flight to the Philippines, you can start looking for a hotel in Cebu City. We recommend booking one night in a place close to the airport. After a long flight it’s nice to just relax for a bit.
Across from the airport you’ll find the Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino. The perfect place to start your trip and, if you like, to spend your last night before flying back. It isn’t really ‘waterfront’, because you can’t actually see the coast from the hotel room. It’s an excellent stay for the money. The rooms and suites are spacious & the breakfast and dinner buffets are worth adding too. We paid $80 for one night. But prices depend a lot on the time of year you travel to the Philippines. So check your deal yourself on this hotel site.

WHERE DO WE BOOK OUR HOTELS IN CEBU?
Where do we book our hotels? Preferably directly via the hotel’s own website. That way you’re in direct contact with the hotel right away, for example about an airport transfer or a late check-in after a long flight. With a direct booking you also regularly get a better price or a little extra, such as a room upgrade or free breakfast. Always check the cancellation terms, though. If a flight is canceled or changed, you can then switch plans more quickly.
